Merryn Harpley

Healing people with her hands has always been second nature to Merryn, who intuitively helped her family and friends as she was growing up.  Having sustained injuries as a teenager herself, she was exposed to physiotherapists and chiropractors from a young age, thus developing an intense interest in the science of the body and the musculoskeletal system.

Merryn studied Remedial Massage, then enrolled in the Musculoskeletal Therapy course at the Australian College of Natural Medicine.  She graduated in 2005 and was awarded the most outstanding student in the pioneer batch of this program!

It was during her study that she met Ken, who was then lecturing in MST.  since then, Merryn has been mentored and guided throughout her career, being more than happy to join Ken's growing team in 2008 after gaining 2 years as a Musculoskeletal Therapist in holistic health and massage centres.

A firm believer in the holistic approach to healthcare and the mind-body connection, Merryn enjoys providing the utmost care to her clients and is outstanding as assessing and treating various conditions.  Merryn uses a range of techniques, including: soft tissue alignment, massage, myofascial release, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, lymphatic drainage, stretching joint mobilisation, cupping therapy and dry needle therapy.

Through Ken's guidance, Merryn is constantly learning new techniques and treatments as well as uncovering insights into the mind-body connection.  She is passionate about assisting her clients in understanding their limitations and working together with them to achieve their goals.
